The Wish Farm Soundstage was lined with country mega stars this past week. Performing to millions of football fans earlier in the year at the 2011 Super Bowl, the country music group Lady Antebellum took the stage at this year’s Florida Strawberry Festival. If you were in attendance you would have barred witness to the sweet sounds of a Musical Harvest Strawberry Guitar being played by Lady Antebellum. Enjoy the photos below!

 

At the recent Florida Strawberry Festival,

Doug Ranno, founder and managing partner of Colorful Harvest, presented country music recording artist Trace Adkins with a custom made Musical HarvestTM strawberry themed guitar.  The gift was to honor Adkins for his efforts to raise awareness of childhood food allergies, a condition which afflicts over 3 million children in the U.S. alone.

Atkins interest in the cause was inspired by his daughter, Brianna, who has severe allergies to peanuts and other foods.  Ranno personally thanked Adkins for his efforts because, just like Adkins, he has a daughter with severe and sometimes life threatening food allergies. 

Ranno had founded Colorful Harvest, in part, to find foods that would give his own daughter the nutrition she needed to build a strong immune system, without triggering an allergic reaction.  The company specializes in growing colorful products from heirloom style seed including Rainbow Crunch Carrots®, Ruby Jewel® sweet red corn, and orange-purple and green cauliflower, as well as strawberries, blackberries and melons.

We always innovating our guitar design at musical harvest.  In the beginning we stared off with a much larger body for our strawberry guitar. It had a satin red finish. Currently we have transitioned to a much shinier clear finish. Thew new guitar also sports a completely redesigned calyx.  Forged from a green pearloid and polished to perfection we are extremely proud of our new calyx.
